What is Zero Liquid Discharge?
Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) is an advanced water treatment approach in which no wastewater is discharged outside the plant. All wastewater generated is treated, purified, and reused — or converted into solid waste.

How ZLD System Works
Primary Treatment (ETP)
Removal of suspended solids, oil, grease, and major contaminants through primary effluent treatment.
Secondary Treatment
Biological treatment using aerobic processes to reduce organic load and BOD.
Reverse Osmosis (RO)
High-pressure membrane separation recovers clean water and concentrates dissolved salts.
Evaporation System (MEE)
Multiple Effect Evaporator concentrates the RO reject, recovering additional water through evaporation.
Crystallization (ATFD / Crystallizer)
Final stage converts remaining concentrated liquid into solid salt — achieving true zero liquid discharge.
